Dubai is a city that likes to be the biggest and best and indeed the Guiness Book of Records has opened an office here. And currently investors are making more on real estate and stocks in Dubai than anywhere else in the world, as the only independent investment newsletter for the region published by ArabianMoney reveals this month (subscribe here).
ArabianMoney editor and publisher Peter Cooper goes onto the floor of the Dubai Financial Market in the latest issue to swap stories with veteran broker Mohammed Ali Yasin, managing director of the National Bank of Abu Dhabi?s brokerage arm Abu Dhabi Financial Services.
World beating performance
With Dubai villas up 35 per cent in the past 12 months and the local stock market 46 per cent up since the start of the year, there is a buzz in the air at the DFM. A delegation of African investors sweeps past the video screens and black leather seats where the hardcore national investors hang out.
But Mr. Yasin does not think Dubai stocks are about to meltdown. Far from it, he thinks we have another two to three years before the market hits the top, though not necessarily at the current pace of advance. Readers of the ArabianMoney investment newsletter still have plenty of time to choose their stocks.
It?s been the same story in real estate with price rises also accelerating over the past few months if the reports of estate agents are correct. Some think it is all a bit too much too soon, others that this is too little too late!
But again the real question is how long the boom can last and the ArabianMoney investment newsletter has its own answer for subscribers only. Get the insider tips on the world?s hottest investment market today by signing up and we will send you the current issue immediately.
