When you hear the word ?microfinance,? do you think of women, but when you hear the word ?entrepreneur,? do you think of me? Much of the world does, Gayle Tzemach Lemmon explained in her recent TEDxWomen talk. Lemmon, an economic reporter who?s studied and reported on female entrepreneurs in developing and crisis-stricken countries tells us why that matters ? and why we should invest in women, not as victims, but as global growth opportunities.
?This is not about doing good, it?s about global growth and global employment,? Lemmon says.
