Family Guy screenwriter to speak and host screen writing workshop at

The University Students Council is happy to announce screenwriter, Deepak Sethi will be the keynote speaker for the upcoming Backpack 2 Briefcase event taking place on today.? Additionally, Sethi be holding an interactive screenwriting workshop at 5:00pm in Conron Hall followed by a keynote presentation at 7:30pm in the Mustang Lounge.

Sethi graduated from Western in 2002 and is now a successful screenwriter in Hollywood. He has written for popular shows such as, Family Guy and Daniel Tosh?s Brickleberry.

Backpack 2 Briefcase is a national award winning event series presented by The University Students? Council, The Student Success Centre and Alumni Western. This program was designed for students in order to ease their transition from life at Western to life as young professionals. Backpack 2 Briefcase provides a perfect opportunity for students in all years, across all programs to network with alumni speakers while enjoying light refreshments.
