Evan Park pitched a five-hitter and Brendan Thurber had four hits and four RBIs as Ashland (1-0) knocked off Natick (1-1) in Zone 5A action 11-2 Wednesday.
Kyle Goulet added three hits, two runs and two RBIs for Ashland, while Brendon Wolfe had two hits and a run scored. Ashland scored seven runs in the first inning and every player scored a run in the game.
Natick?s Alex Benson had two hits, including a double and a triple with a run scored and an RBI.
Ashland is at Newton on Thursday.
MILFORD 4, EAST SIDE 3: First baseman Matt Ferelli had two hits and an RBI as Milford Post 59 (2-0) edged East Side in American Legion Zone 4 action.
NORTHBOROUGH 4, WACHUSETT 1: Reid Garrity had a strong outing for Northborough Post 234 in a win over Wachusett.

BELLINGHAM 6, HOLLISTON 0: Jeff Dunn pitched six scoreless innings, yielding three hits but no walks while striking out eight as Bellingham (1-0) blanked Holliston (0-1) in a Central Mass. Senior Babe Ruth matchup.
Cori Boucher went 2-for-4 with a run for Bellingham.
Anthony Cardini was 1-for-2 for Holliston.
MEDWAY 8, FRANKLIN 2: Pitcher Andrew Henry tossed a complete-game three-hitter, striking out nine as Medway beat Franklin in the season opener for both teams.
ASHLAND 4, MEDFIELD 2: Thomas Schelling tossed a five-hitter and Derek Masionis hit a tie-breaking RBI double in the fifth inning as Ashland (2-0) defeated host Medfield in a CMSBR North game.
Schelling allowed one earned run and struck out four in the complete-game win and Masionis finished with two RBIs. Shamus Reardon added an insurance run with an RBI single in the seventh.
John Ciampaglia went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Ashland.
